At Talking Hands Ceramics in Neukölln, you get a full three-hour class with an experienced teacher by your side. There’s time to learn the basics, get your hands into the clay and make something that feels like yours.

A mug, a muesli bowl, a ramen bowl, a plate, a vase — your first class can lead to more than a wonky little pot. Beginners make functional, dinnerware-quality pieces, finished with non-toxic glazes selected for tableware.

Good tools matter. Our professional throwing bats keep your work supported when it’s time to lift it off the wheel, helping you avoid the dreaded cut-off mishap. And when it’s time to choose a finish, you have 28 glaze options: 14 single-tone and 14 dual-tone looks.
